But when you are accomplishing other goals it is much irritating. Because you might not be able to do it in the beginning which it is irritating. But when you are working in obedience it shouldn't be as hard because it should come as a instinct.

Thomas S. Monson

If you are obedient and well behave you will do good. This also applies to you test in school because it depends on how obedient you are when you study.  In life the test might be different but it still goes back on your behavior the less obedient you are the strong the test will be.

Reggie Bush

Reggie Bush was a football player for USC he was a running back. His name was known, everyone knew who he was since he won and he was the best player of the team at the moment. But them everything came out like it has to be. When he won the most elite award afford to college football player the public found out that he was accepting gift from people who he wasn't suppose to be accepting them. When you play college football you do not accept awards you play because you love the game. But he didn't meaning his entire career was ruin. In my opinion it was his mistake and his paying for it. He shouldn't have done what he did but he did. Everyone has a reason for their action it does not mean that they should do them though.

“Obedience sums up our entire duty”

Hosea Ballou

When i read this quote i think of what he is trying to say when he speaks of duty. And the word obedience is also in the sentence. Which is why when i read his quote i think of a leader. Doesn't a leader mean both of the words being use. Every leader has a duty and even though they lead they still have to follow obedience because they have to lead they need to show their obedience no matter what as well. This also leads to them receiving respect.

When i read this quote i think that personality a person actions were the things he looked for when he saw you play. Because you might have been good but what if your personality was just plain horrible. Then did it really matter how good you were.  It all depends on the way you behave towards other people showing respect and such helps in many aspects.

Obedience

What is obedience? What does it mean to be obedient to obey?

Obedience is the act or form of a person behavior that shows respect to their authority. To be a obedient person would mean to comply with orders or requests.

Words that mean the same as Obedient:

  • compliant
  • acquiescent
  • tractable
  • amenable
Ex: Doing what you are told by a teacher, elder, parents.
Doing what you are told to do by someone you respect.

911 Memorial

911 is a day that no one can forget, the day many lives were lost, and the day people themselves lost family, loved ones, and trust on the countries safety.  September 11 was a normal ordinary day at least that how it seems until the Twin Towers were attack. 19 men hijack four fuel commercial planes and flue them into different directions two of them were sent to the Twin Towers, one to the Pentagon (military base), one to Washington D.C the White House.  The attack on the Twin Towers went according to plan. The amount of people killed still amazes me to this day 2,977 people where kill, in the Pentagon 184 people were kill this was only because the passengers in the plan manage to hijack the plain from the terrorist. The plain that was on its way to the White House only 40 passengers died same reasons that occur with the plain that was going to the Pentagon. When I first herd of 911 I was shock, I remember I was in Memphis, Tennessee and everyone went quiet no one move. It was a huge impact on me and up to today I don’t forget it.

"The key to freedom is obedience"

Boyd K. Packer

When i read his quote i think of behavior. Obedience can be trace back to a person behavior, if you are good then you will get freedom but if you are bad then you will be punish. Its like when your teaching a little puppy obedience if it follows orders he gets a treat if he is bad then he is usually punish. This is the way a person shows obedience but with respect and the way you behave towards your parents, teachers, and elders. If you are good then you are free to do as you wish in other words freedom if you are bad then you get nothing.

"Relentless, Repetitive Self-talk is what changes our self-image"

Denise Waitley

Reflection: When i read Denise Waitley i think of the way a person talks to themselves. For example if i keep telling myself "Your not good enough." At some point you are bound to believe that because you keep telling yourselves that, and the more you do it the more you will believe that. But if you tell yourself "You are more than good enough," you will believe in yourself, you will pay attention to yourself more and probably do better than you would normally.
