When i read his quote i think of it as a life making decision. A person doesn't know what is going to happen to them in life, but a person can figure out what will if he/she make the right decisions. When a person does something wrong whether it is a lie, cheat, or disrespect a person that alone can have a impact in their life. It is simply because the decision a person makes is what forms life. But lets just say a person always does what is right then their life is bound to have lots of success. 

FBI

Duties and Responsibilities: A FBI special agents can conduct special cases and top security involvements. Some of the things included are terrorism, foreign counterintelligence, extortion, white collar crime, and bribery and drug trafficking. Among other things they do is conduct investigations and be witnesses to a crime during court. 

Salary: 69,900-106,922

Education: In order to be consider a special agent you must hold a bachelors degree. In other cases a agent must speak more than one language and have knowledge in crime investigations. 

Reflection: It is not that i wouldn't like to be a FBI agent its more like i am not sure. Lately i have watch a lot of criminal minds and the job sounds quite interesting, but i still wouldn't like to be one because of what it stand for and means.

Charles Ketterer 

When i read this quote i think he is trying to say that our future is in our hands. A person can decide what path they want to take and that path can lead to a successful or unsuccessful life. It all comes down to the person decisions and way of living. If you aren't working hard for what you want how can a you expect to have a future that will satisfied and make you happy. Your future is your hands is a way of saying choose what you want to be. 

"Bless You" 

The phrase "Bless You" can have different meaning back in the day, and it all depended on what that person in that plays believed. This words can have a meaning from protecting a person from evil,protecting a person's soul, luck, and life itself. All of this originated from different places but it is said that the ancient Romans were responsible for this phrases. They started saying "Salve" in a way of blessing someone. But as time went on it change. All of the sayings have a different meaning since "Bless You" was also a way of saying good morning to a person. 

Rachel Castillo 

The story of this women follows that a bag went missing. Later it was found by her as she investigated the bag she notice stacks of money. Upon counting  the money she notice that it was 36,000 dollars. The bag also had a I.D. of a old man who according to police has poor health. The interesting thing is that the women did not keep the money she return all of it. She says that since she was little she was taught to always do what was right not to mention she believes in the bible. When she return the money she did not receive a award no but she says "maybe she will be awarded later on in life." I believe she did the right thing and maybe she will be awarded.

Otto Graham, Jr. 

I think Otto is trying to say is always think before you act. Basically before taking any action think "Am i doing what's right or wrong." By doing so you will know your answer since a person will always know if they are doing what is right or what is wrong. Also by doing so you will know better before taking action, you will know if it is good or bad. It is basically a question, do you want to do what is right or wrong? 

Health Information Specialist 

Duties and Responsibility: A health information specialist organize, and manage health data in order to make sure the information has accuracy, quality, and accessibility. Among security with both electronics and in paper. In order to do this they must learn access codes and know where the patients records location. 

Salary: 40,380-34,160

Education: Usually the only thing needed is a postsecondary certificate in order to enter the occupation. Other things that might be needed is a type of degree or knowledge in technology. 

  

Reflection: No i wouldn't like to become one. One of the reasons why is because you have to seat and listen to peoples problem(health wise) but i am not a patient person. 

Little Miles and Cornell Daily 

In this story we see a little boy who happens to be out with his parents and they go to eat dinner. While Cornell Daily happens to also be out for dinner in the same place with his family. Little Miles found a twenty dollar bill outside the restaurant just before coming in, and he was thinking of spending the money on a video game. But when he saw the cornell he didnt spend the money he gave it to the cornell along with a note. In the note it explain how his father was a soldier but had passed away it also explain how he appreciates the job he does for america. Since the time that the cornell receive this note he has not stop reading it, and the message the note had for him.

Alexander Pope 

When i read this quote i think it means that honor takes place on the action a person takes. If you act rowdy and rude then were is the honor in that. Since you act this way doesn't it mean that you have no self respect or respect for others, honor happens to be taken from a persons actions and action such as respect is a huge part of honor. In the other hand if you are a person who does the right, fallows rule. respectful, and polite it shapes up a person who has honor among other good qualities. 

Environmental Health Specialist 

Duties and Responsibility: Environmental Health Specialist use their knowledge of the environment in order to protect the environment and human health. They do this by cleaning up polluted air, advice policy makers, and talk/work with big industries to reduce waste. By doing so they are helping human health to be better since there's less damage around them to injure their health. 

Salary: 95,460-56,640

Education: Must have a degree in environmental science or a science related field. 

Reflection: I would not like to follow this field because a person must be good in way towards nature. I am not a person who takes kindly to nature. Also i happen to hate really dirty places since it frustrates me.

George Washington  

This line from George Washington means it's better to have good company than to be in bad company and end up alone. If a person has a good person by their side they are bound to behave more properly. Not only will they behave better but their life alone will have a huge improvement. The way it works is if one is next to a good person they are bound to learn good

from that person . But if a person is next to someone who behaves poorly then the effect is they themselves will behave poorly.   

Presidents Day 

Presidents Day is a American holiday celebrated on the third monday of February. In the beginning of 1885 the holiday was established as a way of recognition of President George Washington. Also refer to as "Washington Birthday" in the beginning. Later it was moved due to the fact thats its popularity increase and was call Presidents day. This holiday was also set as a way for workers to have more three day weekends. Some states still have individual holidays as a way of honoring a presidents birthday. But Presidents Day is a holiday to honor all presidents. Presidents day is celebrated by a reenactment, staging a celebration, and other type of celebrations. Some school even celebrate by teaching kids about great presidents until the day of Presidents Day.

This quote is basically saying that right is only right when there is no motive or lie behind it. When a person tells a lie or a half lie they will still pay or be damage by it simply because a lie is a lie, nothing will change the fact that you're lying. Well when a person does something only because there's motive or something to get from it; it is not right. In my opinion right is when a person is not trying or doing something only to be benefited by doing right. Right is the concept of doing something and not expecting to get anything in return, but only doing it because you know that it is right.

Arnold H. Glasgow 

I think the quote is trying to say that you should aim for what you want and then fire. In football the players know what their goal is and it is to get the ball into the goalposts or score a touchdown. Life should be like this, a person needs to know what they want and set their minds to it in order to achieve something that could be simple. Also by doing so a person never loses sight of what they want.  

History of Basketball

The first games that were very similar to that of basketball where played by a Olmec tribe found in mexico about 500 years ago. Along with the Mayan and Aztecs who also have a game similar to that of basketball, but they did not use a ball they use skulls of their enemies.But the first true basketball game was held in Springfield, Massachusetts in January 20th, 1892.   A canadian Doctor named James Naismith invented the game for the YMCA to play during the winter. In the beginning Naismith wrote simple rules and then proceeded to  nail two basket for hoops and then use a soccer ball to shoot. They use a soccer ball since YMCA did not have enough funds to make a new ball at the time. From Naismith rules nine have been kept and only four new rules have been applied. At the beginning basketball was a foreigner to the player since it only lasted 30 minutes and the end results were 1-0. But little by little the game popularity grew only to the point to almost be ban by YMCA since the game was becoming too rowdy for their liking. But people still played and it was how leagues where form by amateurs which led to national leagues and games being held. 

Tana and Christian 

This story was a young man name christian whose father stole money from Tano, a old women who was visiting her husbands grave. This is how Christians father's mugged shot was posted by the news and police. Christian upon recognizing his father called Tana and ask her to meet him up. Before this Christians father gave him money for his band trip but Christian ones seeing the news realize that the money might have been Tana's. Because of this he called her in order  to return the money. But Tano seeing how honest he was decided to give him the money for him to use for his band trip. I think of the reasons why Christian did this was because he felt shame for his father's actions, and he knew taking that money would be wrong because it would be as if he stoled it himself. Which would probably make him feel similar to his father in a way.

Count Leo Tolstoy 

 I think Count Leo Tolstoy is trying to say that you only really live life when you do good. Like when a person does something bad in life it isn't really living because it is disgraceful. Also when a person does bad in order to live for me its a way of cheating through life because you don't really feel what life is. Life can be a rough and painful path but if you live it right and in a good way in a way if feels good. Because you know you are living life the right way. 

Veterinarian 

Duties And Responsibility: A veterinarian work to maintain the health of a animal along with public health. Something that they do is diagnosed, treat, and search animals livestock. They also examines animals and perform surgery to the animals. 

Salary: 34,750-84,460

Education; A veterinarian must have a doctors and veterinary degree. Must take at least for years of college. You also need normal science courses provided to you normally in high school. 

Reflection: No i do not think i would become a veterinarian. No the reason is not because i don't like animals, but simply i don't like the idea of putting them to sleep. Or the fact i must open a animal up for surgery is simply a no for me. 

Western Medicine 

Duties and Responsibility: Western Medicine is the medical term for doctors and nurses who use medication to fix in the body rather than herbal stuff.  This medicine is usually produce by industries and big companies that focus in the field of medicine. 

Salary: 156,000-315,000

Education: Most of the time you must have a bachelor's degree and higher or more advance degrees. Even though it is not a requirement students have have study biology, chemistry, physics,mathematics, and english. 

Reflection: I am interested in the medical field. I find it interesting how you can discover new things and try to cure them by medicine. I don't know how to explain it but it is interesting.
