• Ben was worst student in his grade school class 
• Ben become top student in his school 
• Ben become a world renowned doctor 

A Choice: Poverty or Prosperity

"I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and i can change that (poverty). It depends upon how hard i want to work, and decided that i would change it."

When he says that i think of the way his life change. He went to poor without education and such to a man of power and with education. What he means is a person chooses the way they want to live their life, whether they want to work hard and do better or sit around and do nothing. In reality his life only change because he receive knowledge from books and stop sitting around and watching T.V. all day. Basically all you have to do is have ambition to succeed and want to change your life while doing all the right things.

When i read this quote it just makes me think that right and wrong are two different things. A person cannot expect to be right by doing wrong simply because they think its right or because they do not know the answer between right and wrong. But when a person does something right and they know or it feels right then it is right. But if you do something wrong it is simply wrong and not right. 

Eastern Medicine Doctor 

Duties and Responsibility: Eastern medicine is all about "dispel evil and support good." They also focus more on strengthening the body defence system and enhancing its healing factors.  They basically focus on the body interaction towards life such as weather, emotional, time of day etc.  

Salary:30,000-58,958

Education: In order for a person to become one they must know the body and mind well. They also need to know the old methods of chinese medicine which includes plants and such. 

Reflection: No i wouldn't like to be one because i do not believe or enforce the issue of using plants and such to cure. I believe more on the western medicine then anything.

I think he is trying to say that your mood will the difference in whatever you do. For example, if you do something with no energy then what do you think the outcome will be. I believe the outcome will not be great because your body and mind is not into it. But what if you do something with lots of enthusiasm then the outcome will be fantastic. Because you are into it and it helps and has a greater outcome.

Dean Smith 

I think he meant that he was not trying to win and become a legacy among basketball. But he was trying to lead a well team and a life full of goals and achievement through doing what was right for him and the team. From what i know he was not a man full of injustice but he was a man that followed and what was right. By doing so he won many games and become a friend to all his players. Basically this man is saying if you do what is right and follow what is right then your life will be accomplish.

Author 

Duties and Responsibilities: A writer or author is a person who creates special and creative work either as novels, children's books, poems etc. A writer needs to have self-motivation along with talent as a writer in order to make it. A writer needs excellent ideas that appeal or please their audience.

Education: A author usually needs a bachelor's degree, usually in english,journalism or communication. But essentially you need the skills to write and come up with creative ideas that appeal your audience. 

Reflection: I did not write this career because i am interested in i am just interested on their work and books. I would not want to become one because for one i am not a good writer i do not have a lot of creativity in me. Which is why following this career for me would be a total disaster. 

Phone Tips 

Some smart tips for when taking a picture on your smartphone are 

Never Zoom In: It is known that your phone comes in with a zoom in feature. But never zoom because the quality of the picture is ruin and it also takes in more space. Instead take the picture and crop it. 

Light it Right: Most phone come with a install flash but often the flash does not work well or damage the picture. Which is why taking a picture with natural lighting in much easier and better quality. Also if you do not have natural light then download a app that have lighting. 

Good Posture: When taking a picture make sure to no more around. When a person outstretch their hands, the hands tend to move and be lest stable. Which is why when you tuck in your elbows into your body it creates a stable position for your phone and allows you take the picture.

Oscar Nominations: No actor or Actresses of Color Among the Nominations 

In a article from NBC News it was reported that no actor/actress are nominated to wing a Oscar. Even though their performances where evaluated and said to be the best of the best none of them receive a nomination. This not the first time this has happen but it also happen in 1998 the year of the "Titanic." Some of the actors who where suppose to be nominated where part from movies that where successful in both the movie and career wise. One of the actors who was not nominated was David Oyelowo from "Selma" the movie about M.L. King Jr. who was expected to be among the Best Actors category.

When i read this quote i think of intuition. Every time before i do something or i fond myself about to do something i think on whether its right or wrong. When ever i something that is wrong i don't know how to explain it but it is like a chill. But when i do something right i feel comfortable. All i know is that your body or mind naturally knows if you have done something right or something completely wrong. 

     Electrocardiograph Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: Electrocardiograph technician conduct test in order to know the patients history of problems along with preparations for surgery. This test also help doctors and such know what the problem is with the patient. They also operate all the equipment found in their lab. 

Salary: 44,990-91,070

Education: In order for a person to be able to become one they need a bachelor's degree. A one year certificate from a hospital from doing work. Courses also include anatomy, medical terminology, and applied science. 

Reflection: No i would not like to follow this career. I would not like this career because i am not good with machines. I also herd that people tend to freak out when they find themselves in this machines and i am not good when it comes to comfort people.

Reading this quote makes me think that a person needs more then intelligence in order to achieve true education. As said by M.L. King Jr. in order for a person to have true education he or she need a character of a sort in order to have intelligence. A person might be smart but that ddoesn'tmean they know what is best or worse for a person. I believe he meant how back then many people were smart but they did not know how to treat a person correctly.  

Registered Dietitian

Duties and Responsibilities:  A registered dietitian is a person who specializes in food and nutrition. They give advice to people on what to eat in order to achieve a healthy life style. They also teach their patients on the value of calories each food has or what to eat on certain days.

Salary: 34,500-77,590

Education: In order for a person to become one they would need a bachelor’s degree on dietetics, food and nutrients, food service, and clinical services. Other programs would be on psychology, chemistry, and biology.

Reflection: I think I am interested in this career. It sounds interesting telling a person what to eat and what not to eat. Also this career also implies to the people that don’t eat and usually this people have a psychological problem. Meaning you get to go deeper into the problems and issues of that person which is really interesting.
