Some smart tips for when taking a picture on your smartphone are 

Never Zoom In: It is known that your phone comes in with a zoom in feature. But never zoom because the quality of the picture is ruin and it also takes in more space. Instead take the picture and crop it. 

Light it Right: Most phone come with a install flash but often the flash does not work well or damage the picture. Which is why taking a picture with natural lighting in much easier and better quality. Also if you do not have natural light then download a app that have lighting. 

Good Posture: When taking a picture make sure to no more around. When a person outstretch their hands, the hands tend to move and be lest stable. Which is why when you tuck in your elbows into your body it creates a stable position for your phone and allows you take the picture.
