When i read his quote i believe he meant that we should know when to stop. A person should know when to stop or else its going to hurt them or the people around him. A person should also learn when it is enough and when you should finish what you have started. Never leave something behind always finish things, why should you leave something that is so simple to do. Even if its a challenge you should know when it is enough or when you can do more.
